Abstract
The thesis of this project is that mission agencies must respond to the felt needs of congregational leaders in order to move the whole church toward international mission engagement. Sixty pastors were surveyed using a random sample of Christian Reformed Church pastors to ascertain what their congregations most needed in order to do international missions well, resulting in a strategic plan to serve congregations. A number of key findings were: that pastors believe their congregations need communication from missionaries, connecting to them, improved relationships between their churches and communities overseas, learning-and-doing opportunities and help connecting global and local mission.

Abstract
The question of why new church developments (NCDs) encounter growth plateaus is one that Presbyterians, who are interested in organizing new churches, must address. This project focuses on the contribution a Reformed understanding of mission plays in helping NCDs transition from a pastoral-size congregation to a program-size congregation. Utilizing six organizing pastors, this project surveyed how a Reformed understanding of mission assisted six NCDs in this transition. The results showed that a Reformed understanding of mission is a central contributing factor assisting NDCs in the transition from a pastoral-size to program-size congregation.

Abstract
This project decentralizes the session of a Presbyterian congregation in order to test the readiness of the congregation to plant daughter congregations under the new organizational paradigm. With members of the session taking more active shepherding roles, the congregation spawns two healthy church plants in five years.
