Increasing self-awareness and self-differentiated leadership through an application of family systems theory with church planters

Abstract
The purpose of of this ministry project was to lead a select group of church planting leaders in Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention to demonstrate an understanding of how family systems affect their personhood and leadership ability and, consequently, to develop and initiate a plan for increasing self-awareness and self-differentiated leadership. Through three sets of personal exercises and three group meetings, the majority of project participants demonstrated an understanding of project content and created a growth plan for self-awareness and self-difentiated leadership. The director grew in leadership, discoverd new theological insights, and evaluated the project as effective for developing future church planters.

Leading select members to develop a plan for engaging the New Testament with consistency and reflection

Abstract
The purpose of this project was to lead members at First Baptist Church of Floresville, Texas to engage the Scripture with consistency and reflection. God commands believers to engage his word, and through obedience to his command, members have the opportunity for spiritual change. Scripture records both reading and/or listening as two mediums for engagement. The administrator of this project directed memebrs to engage Scripture through an aural medium . Listening and reflection templates along with five assessments provided measurable evaluations. The project revealed new habits and spiritual change for the selected members.

Equipping urban missionaries to utilize research in the development of a church planting strategy for Colombo, Sri Lanka

Abstract
This project is for the International Mission Agency team focused on Colombo, Sri Lanka, to develop a church planting strategy for the city. The project incorporates researching the city to evaluate the context and strategize accordingly. It uses a geographically distributed team approach, on-site and online training, statistical and descriptive research methodologies, and a four-element strategy formation model. A research profile of the city is developed, which informs and molds a comprehensive church planting strategy for the city.

Developing emotional competence a skill based model for leadership and effective ministry

Abstract
The project explores emotional competence for healthy leadership and ministry. Emotional competence is the ability to appropriately manage and express one's emotions, while being able to react to others with adoptive control. Emotional competence applies to both human and interpersonal emotions as well as to God's emotional patterns. This project concluded that leadership with experience using emotional competence is better prepared to lead and minister in crises; the data showed a connection between emotional competence and healthy leadership.

Equipping the next generation to share the Gospel

This project seeks to provide a contextualized method to train and equip Christians to share their faith. They will get biblical foundation for evangelism and be equipped wiht tools to know how to share the Gospel and best position themselves to share the Gospel. The goal of this project is to provide a resource for pastors and churches looking for effective, relivant ways to train and equip the next generation of Christians.

Inspiring a passion for service ministry in seniors at McKenzie Road Baptist Church

Abstract
Senior believers must stay active in service to continue their spiritual growth and passion for the Lord. Through this project, the candidate recruited, trained, and coordinated five teams of senior members in providing spiritual services in four community older adult residential facilities. The thirteen participating senior believers ministering to other seniors overcame common challenges older adults face and found a renewed passion for service. The participant's testimonies inspired the other senior members of McKenzie Road baptist for service.
