Kip Bernard Banks Sr.

"The Black Church struggles to shape public policy to effectuate social change. It has limited its public policy witness to mostly racial justice and economic concerns, while devoting few resources to issues such as climate change, educational equity and child welfare. This project is an analysis of the critical importance of the Black church to engage in the imperative task of child-making and the need for training and resources at the denominational level. This writing provides a tool for Black church denominations to become effective at the task of child-making, including doing a strategic grant assessment and advocating for child welfare initiatives." -- Leaf [2].

Jody K Hill

The purpose of this project was to equip selected students at Blue Mountain College, in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, with strategic leadership skills so they can serve the church and community as Christ-centered leaders. The project director utilized curriculum-based training sessions to teach the students essential strategic leadership skills. Using leadership research built upon theological foundations, he created a ten-step training process with an acronym titled LEADERSHIP. The college plans to implement a degree in leadership communication in the near future. Thus, a byproduct of the project was that Blue Mountain College students were introduced to a new field of study as a result of the project's completion. To complement the degree in leadership communication, the college provost hopes to offer a recurring course in strategic leadership at Blue Mountain College. The planning and research completed in this project will assist in developing the strategic leadership course.

Jordan Stephen Ferris

The purpose of this project is to enhance exegetical preaching skills of Old Testament narratives that increase congregational awareness of spiritual empowerment at Central Baptist Church, White Hall, Arkansas. The congregation will start to develop a deeper sense of biblical theology and spiritual empowerment by understanding the context and application of Old Testament narrative, and thus helping the congregation potentially see spiritual empowerment from other biblical narrative texts within the canon of Scripture.

The project director will be using the Preaching Skills Enhancement model with three phases to accomplish this mode. Phase one will consist of researching expository preaching and proper exegesis of Old Testament narratives. Phase two will be the formulation, writing, and preaching of a sermon series from Old Testament narrative. Phase three will be the assessment of data and impact on the congregation as well as the project director.

Louis Emile Zinc

The purpose of this project in ministry was to equip selected student leaders from Parkway Baptist Church with essential disciple-making skills. The project director chose the equipping model in order that the research completed would be a tool utilized to spur on Great Commission obedience in the lives of students at Parkway Baptist Church. He conducted research in the field of discipleship and created a curriculum to identify the skills necessary for being discipled and making disciples.

Assessment of the project consisted of five tests. The tests were given to the student leaders before and after each equipping session. The results of the tests helped the project director to determine if the equipping model was successful.

Abioye O Tela

The purpose of this project is to research the field of multiethnic ministry to develop an academic curriculum for the Technicolor Ministry School of the First Baptist Church of Duluth, Duluth, Georgia. The project director sets two primary ministry goals for this project. The first goal is to research the field of multiethnic ministry by studying a wide range of sources and attending a triennial national multiethnic conference to discover the prevailing characteristics and best practices. The second goal is to develop and write an academic curriculum for the Technicolor Ministry School of the First Baptist Church of Duluth. The project director will utilize the research model described in the current New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Project in Ministry Design Handbook to complete this project.

James Troy Stewart

The project's purpose was to develop and associational replanter assessment guide for the North American Mission Board (NAMB). The project model for this project was the ministry research model. First, the project director explored the field of church replanting to determine a list of the essential church replanter characteristics. Second, the project director researched a selection of church planter assessment processes to provide a report on best practices. Third, the project director designed a replanter pre-assessment process for online development. Fourth, the project director developed a replanter assessment guide for NAMB to provide local associations and state conventions. Finally, the project director presented the pre-assessment design and assessment guide to the NAMB Replant team for approval. The project sought to increase the NAMB Replant team's impact to equip local Southern Baptist Associations to identify, assess, and develop church replanters in an effort to replant healthier churches in the future.

Carmine Anthony Pagliarullo

The purpose of this project report is to demonstrate how the project director's expository preaching skills were enhanced to increase congregational awareness of select spiritual disciplines at Friendship Baptist Church of Statesboro, Georgia. The project director researched expository preaching in order to formulate best practices for expository preaching from other practitioners. The project director researched the field of spiritual disciplines and discerned best practices Christian spiritual disciplines in order to raise awareness of spiritual disciplines for the congregation of Friendship Baptist Church of Statesboro, Georgia.

The project director increased his knowledge of best practices of spiritual disciplines, and his skill in the the delivery of expository sermons, The project director grew in his ability to help raise awareness of spiritual discipline practices among the congregation of Friendship Baptist Church. By researching the fields of expository preaching and spiritual disciplines the project director expanded his ability to preach expositionally as he raises awareness of spiritual disciplines among the congregation of Friendship Baptist Church.

Donald M McClellan

The purpose of this project was to equip selected leaders of Killian First Baptist Church, Killian, Louisiana, with essential discipleship skills. To accomplish the stated project, the project director identified three main goals. Each goal is further divided into phases to reach the stated goal. THe first phase for goal one consisted of research to identify essential discipleship skills and the best practices for connecting and communicating with pre-teens and early teens. The second phase of the first goal was to conduct a survey of the selected leaders to determine self-perceived strengths and weaknesses of the selected leaders in regarding their discipleship skills. The second goal was to develop curriculum for use in equipping selected leaders with essential discipleship skills. The first phase of this second goal was the completion of LeRoy Ford's Design for Teaching and Training. The second phase was to create a curriculum for equipping of essential discipleship skills. The final goal was equipping leaders with discipleship skills. This goal is divided into the following phases: enlisting participants, creating a class roster, conducting the training, and conducting a post-test exit interviews.

Wooyoung Lee

The purpose of this project was to equip selected members of New Lord's Baptist Church, Mount Prospect, Illinois, in marketplace evangelism skills. The project director selected the quipping program model in order to achieve the purpose. First of all, the project director researched and studied what evangelism is, what the gospel is, and what the marketplace is through published materials and Interrnet resources.

In order to equip the selected church members of New Lord's Church in marketplace evangelism skills, the project director developed a curriculum. Before the curriculum and seminar, the project director implemented a student needs assessment and pre-test to control contents, learning experiences, and educational environment. Also, the project director researched existing evangelism methods and chose the Three Circles evangelism method according to the context of the selected churched members.

Due to Covid-19, the project director implemented the seminar on online for four weeks. The project director conducted a post-test to check significant changes after the seminar. Also, the project director conducted a class evaluation survey to check the project director's capacity in curriculum design. Two experts evaluated the project director's results of the research and curriculum

Bradley L Gill

The purpose of this project was to equip couples who have been selected from The First Baptist Church of Lafayette, Inc., Lafayette, Louisiana (FBL), in personal evangelism skills. Utilizing the quipping model to educate and empower adults to share the gospel, the project director selected a group of married couples from FBL based on their interest and involvement in evangelism training. Group members participated in a free personality self-assessment that guided their training. After conducting research in the field of evangelism, the project director developed teaching plans that he implemented through sessions designed to equip adults to share the gospel based upon their personality strengths. A variety of professionals evaluated the project director's knowledge and effectiveness of the sessions through the training process.
